Didn't want to add the one more thing to Marnie's trip with her sisters so had
her try the Panny app for geotagging as she was largely using the GM-5.
I had just tried a couple images and thought if it worked for N and N+1 by
induction theorem should be OK. I guess apps don't behave like natural number
theory as
a couple were tagged then all the remainder had the exact same location data
added. It even tagged the raw files, but errant tags are much worse than no
tag at all, big sigh.
Fortunately Marnie's wet ware tagging system (plus a few phone shots) is
impressive, but it does degrade over time. I did a quick search on this and
did find this happens to others.
I was flat out before her trip and gambled the durn app would work, as it
otherwise behaves OK. She was OK using it to transfer jpegs to her phone and
it seemed to run OK in the background. Perhaps get another, I-gotu gt 120
(current one on last legs) or the larger one for more battery capacity, or
something else.
