Vancouver is warm but wet.
Move to Duncan on the Island (or one of the islands on the ferry route) for
more sunshine.
Sunshine .......... that's about all Duncan has other than the world's
largest ice hockey stick along with a history of dead and dying lumber
mills !
Better to try Nanaimo up the road a way or Victoria down the road. At
least Victoria has the Empress Hotel where Ken could enjoy noon hour
tiffin and then indulge himself at Munro Books and Russell Books [likely
the best bookstores on the west coast barring only Powells in Portland, OR].
