Nope. Been there, done that. At issue is that the pigments used in the
calibration targets are "friendly" to LED lighting.

Hmmm. I wonder about a photo paper printed IT8.

Unfortunately, real-world materials and skin don't respond the same way.

However, it is true that a good gray card or ND measurement does
pretty good most of the time.

So, why not less whining and more use of gray cards and/or WB "filters"?
