Thanks, Moose. I agree with your comments. The E-1 is fun to play with, but 5MP can only go so far. Because I have several nice Fuji lenses, as well as adapters, I have been considering ordering a Fuji X-Pro 2, with 24MP and many other improvements. We'll see.

Fujifilm X-E1 with Leica Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm

I don't care what you E-1 apologists say, this is to my eye better than what you are getting out of the E-1 for these subjects. As long as you are using such a short lens that you have to crop way down, I'd stick with the Fuji.
