Our last Upper Peninsula Zuikofest took Joel and me to the Porcupine
Mountains State Park again. It's a regular haunt for us. Joel had an
RB or RZ kit with him that was quite the beast. We hiked down the
steps to the Presque Isle River and he had that kit inside a very
large pack. I had just a couple of OM bodies and a handful of lenses.
My tripod weighed more than the rest of the kit combined.

All was fine, except what goes down, must go back up. That's a LOT of
steps to lug all that gear--in the rain.

I'm sure it was all well worth it, though. It was for me.
