Thanks for looking and commenting, Bob. The Navion is a rugged, capable airplane. This owner was from northwest Florida, and was easy to talk with. When I commented on how nice it looked, he said that it had just been repainted, with his wife's blessing. It seems that she specified the paint scheme. That was fine with him.

Love the Navion. I flew in a Navion quite a bit as a child as it was my
father's favorite plane to fly during his flight instruction and the times
he flew after not getting his license but flying anyway. (With the airport
owner in the right seat. <g>)

With the last of the AOPA visitors departing today, I looked around for
airplanes of interest. Here are six that I found.

This 1977 Cessna Hawk XP II sports 210 hp and a nice set of amphibious
floats.

Following WWII, Republic offered the Seabee to the civilian market. This
is a beautifully restored 1947 example.

This brightly colored Cessna 185 came all the way from the Yukon.

The Light Sport Pilot is allowed to fly specially-designated aircraft with
only a driver's license instead of the usual FAA Medical Certificate, if
he/she has not been denied an FAA Certificate. This is the neatly designed
entry in that field from Sirius.

I spotted this beautiful 1948 Ryan Navion heading for the gas pumps.

Everyone loves the warbirds. This 1955 North American T-28B was departing.

Most with the X-E1 and 18-55, except for the Navion, with E-1 and Tak 135

Comments and critiques welcomed.
