Thanks, Moose. I agree, your mod looks much better. I know that I can't duplicate your changes in total, but are there specific changes that you made that I might add to my repertoire?

Well, I was doing it after the fact. I, of course, masked and treated different areas differently. (I know, I know, AG, so old fashioned.) so taking you through what I did isn't a help.

I would have to see the straight Raw conversion to see what would be "right" to
do to it in the first place.

I agree, I was frustrated with the way this came out in post, which led me to go to B&W. It was shot in the large area of the airport terminal, which has a combination of window light and some sort of fluorescent fixtures.

Tricky stuff. I'm not familiar with the tools for masking, brushing effects in, etc. that you have in Picture Window Pro for areas with different lighting.

The product info page says:
"Masking & Composite Images

 * Extensive tools for creating masks (selections)
 * Use of masks to control application of most transformations
 * Full support for composite images with precise alignment, rotation, scaling, and
perspective control of overlay image"

If that's true in a useful way, you should be able to process different parts of the image for the different lighting, which is what I've done.
