Agreed about the LED stage lighting. It's particularily difficult to deal
with because the lighting is so narrow banded that I think what it is doing
is saturating the sensor without actually resulting in a usable light
level. In otherwords, the light is too pure for the sensor.
My experience is that film handles stage lighting much better than digital.
Even low cost Fuji 200, 400 or 800 print films work better.
