Thank you.

Yes, and I actually did back a lot of settings off because of it, and
I also did a quick and dirty on doing a masked adjustment on the
foreground. A final print would have no halos. But I doubt that I'll
make a final print out of it. It's a rather boring shot and I'm
already about to move along to the next wild sunset storm cloud.

I just looked at it with a critical eye towards the horizon. I don't
think there is any dishing or bulging in it. The terrain is hilly and
the forground really is lower than the camera position. Some people
think that Iowa is flat, but that's only along I-35 north of Ames. You
can see the fence-line and see how much the ground drops away in front
of the camera.

How the camera was held makes a lot of difference. I was holding the
camera RHOT and the AF was selected to the far bottom spot (extreme
left spot in normal horizontal mode). I placed that sensor spot
directly on the horizon. The camera was pointing up as a result. But I
used a 50% overlap as the 14-42 kit lens has a lot of distortion at
the 14mm setting and this gave the algorithm a fighting chance.

Tina's is slightly humped while the horizon is actually flat, mine is
level, even though the horizon isn't actually flat..
