I have an OM-1 body that I essentially got for free. I had won an OM-1N
"not working or for parts" body on eBay for a mere $15. The seller
inadvertantly sent me an OM-1 which is pristine on the outside (except for a
dent on the bottom) but hopeless on the inside. The shutter is stuck in
mid-stride, the time is already fully engaged, film advance doesn't work, and
the mirror is sluggish. Quite a bit of supercial (surface only) corrosion like
you would see in a warm, humid environment near a seashore.

The seller subsequently sent the OM-1N. It's spotless inside and out, and
fully working though I have yet to test the light meter. Even has the #4 shoe,
which is worth more than I paid for the whole shebang. Plus the stock focusing
screen.

The seller has said that I can do what I want with the OM-1. I already
have a pair of those plus an OM-2, and this one would cost far more to repair
than it's worth. But, the outside is in very good condition and it would be
useful for parts, if nothing more.

I would gladly swop it for one of the OM eyecups, and I'll throw in the
postage.
