     I found my Vivitar Series 1 58mm Variable ND filter on eBay for around 
$12, and it included a padded pouch.  Works well with no noticable distortion 
or colour aberration.  Nice thin design with smooth movement.  Haven't used it 
much but it's there if and when I need it.
