When working with curves in Photoshop, don’t forget the blend mode. I know when
doing a normal contrast curves adjustment, I change the blend mode to
luminosity, because if I don’t, the adjustment also mucks with saturation. By
changing it to luminosity, it only works with contrast. When using a
hue/saturation adjustment, I change the blend mode to saturation, otherwise the
adjustment can much with luminosity and contrast.
