Bought today at my local exotic beer emporium, McKean & Charles, Waldoboro,
Maine. The real score is the Black Isle, which Piers can attest (hyperbole
alert!) is made by an ancient Scot in a corner of his barn on the Black Isle,
near Inverness. Who’d a thunk it would be available in Waldoboro, Maine, which
is just short of the back of beyond? (They also had the Black Isle Oatmeal
Stout, which I have not tried. The owner promised to get me some of the porter,
which I had in Beauly, next time around.)
