In theory, yes. In reality, I don't have a 50. <g> But I've arrived in the wee,
frigid pre-dawn hours to set up for just a certain shot and found that I'd left
the tripod in the garage where I'd put it while hauling trash to the transfer
station.
Cursing doesn't cover it. <g>
