OK, then. That explains everything. The D800 is a cr*p camera.

The blue cast does look blocked up to me on three different
monitors/devices. But probably so because on one of the monitors,
EVERYTHING is nasty looking and this jumped right out at me. Once I
became aware of the blue cast I saw it in everything.
This blue cast looks less like "UV Haze" and more like a digital
imaging artifact. If you pull up the color curves, you will see that
there is a distinct bump in the blue channel.
