Never? Ever?
Carol's iPad can use cellular signal not only to browse the web, etc., but
provide a Wi-Fi hotspot for my devices. On
LTE, it is highly usable, less so on 3G, but still functional.
We've found it quite useful when traveling. I wouldn't download anything big,
but it's great for email, banking apps,
and so on.
