That would be a made-for-TV movie called 'Travis Magee' the was
based on 'The Empty Copper Sea'. Starred Sam Elliott as TM. Also saw
that both versions of 'Cape Fear' (1962 & 1991) were based on his
novel 'The Executioners' which I did not know. I never read any of the
TM novels, but my mother was a huge fan.
