Here's another guy who gets no respect from the mainstream climate 
science crowd... Henrik Svensmark.

"Henrik Svensmark (born 1958) is a physicist and professor in the 
Division of Solar System Physics at the Danish National Space Institute 
(DTU Space) in Copenhagen.[1] He is known for his theory on the effects 
of cosmic rays on cloud formation as an indirect cause of global warming."

Can't possibly be says they... but two proof of concept experiments in 
Copenhagan and CERN have so far gone his way.  Clouds are one of the 
biggest holes in any climate model since they're very poorly understood. 
  Watch this space. :-)
