Well, one might have reasonably expected that, like a tree, if you take away
material on one side, it will fall that direction.
But what appears to have happened is that as material was removed, the
remaining material became too weak to support the structure, and it came
more-or-less straight down, World Trade Center style.
Looks like the Darwin Award lost another good candidate.
