There are mixed opinions on this after buying 3 cheap ones I think you
get what you pay for and I ended buying an elefoto adapter which I then
used almost exclusively. the best combination would be an elefoto with
the latest focus confirmation chip added. (maybe someone is doing those
now).
If you want I have a cheapo one spare (without chip) which you can have
to get you started - send me your address off list and I will send it to
you next week - I have some visitors coming from the UK for the weekend
who could post it to you when they return.
I am seriously dumping all my EOS kit as now I am reaching for the
XPro1 automatically, if it was full frame the canyon would be long gone
by now.
