Interesting, although somewhat scary procedure!
Mostly for fun, I've done some IR pics with my stock Leica M8 .. by virtue
of its "stray" IR sensitivity, with a IR(72) filter on the lens. But
because of its "accidental" nature, I'm dealing with a rather low
sensitivity, like 1/30 @ f/8 ISO 640 in bright sunlight... and the
otherwise excellent Nokton 50/1.1 suffers from severe hot-spotting, never
noticed within the visible range :-(
