Yesterday was tax free shopping day in Mass and we found ourselves shopping for
a computer monitor.
The DSLR camera display was divided in two showcases separated by a three foot
long counter. On the right there were about five Canons and on the left there
were about the same number of Nikons and a lonely Sony.
When we arrived, there was an older gentleman and his wife there asking for
someone to help him with the questions he had. Some young girl doomed the
"camera specialist" came and here's how she answered the question "What is the
difference between the Sony and the Nikons?":
"The Sony camera is compatible to this model (pointing to the cheapest Nikon,
priced about $150 less). Nikons are much better cameras, they have more
features, take better pictures and are much more reliable".
Best Buy is about to go under and deservedly so.
