Chuck,
My E-M5 is my first M4/3 camera & I do not own Pana M4/3 body yet. Before I
established my M4/3 system, I read many information from internet to
compare Oly M4/3 lens in equivalent focal length. Finally I chose Pana's
lenses to fulfill the range other than 12-50 (24-100)mm because of:-
1) 7-14, the image quality is much better than Oly's 9-18 and I prefer
wider focal length. Moreover, the speed is faster than 9-18. Although its
weight is almost double of 9-18, & cannot put the filter in front of the
lens, I do like its barrel will not be expanded while zooming.
2) 45-175X, inner zoom is my favourite, the barrel won't be expanded during
zooming. A bit heavy than Oly's 40-150 but 46mm filter size much smaller
than Oly's and its power zoom feature is a great benefit for video shooting.

Besides, lens hood is included for Pana's lens except 2 cake lenses of
20/1.7 & 25/1.4. You have to pay extra money for the lens hood for Oly's
M4/3 lenses :-(

Regards,
Michael
