The keys to discovering such answers (if they exist in the manual) are to:

1) get the manual in PDF form (which you did).
2) study the initial camera diagrams which names the parts
3) find out what Olympus calls the screen:  They say "monitor"
4) search for every use of "monitor" in the text.

I found the answer after perhaps 5 or so occurrences of "monitor" which 
was probably faster than usual.
