Just to tell I'm following this thread with much interest.
I don't mean to drift out of topic, because the following is related
to eye movements and not to color perception.
Recently I attended to a conference on EMDR
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_movement_desensitization_and_reprocessing>,
and felt at a peak of my skepticism.
They showed quite specific activation of the occipital lobes ...
I do prefer metamerism as a subject for study, instead.
