Very likely. The Universe has sent me many similar messages over the
years, such as "stop working", "don't do that", "don't do this", etc. And
the advice has invariably been well-taken.

I've used it fairly often these past two years, adding to my camera
equipment as well as my machine shop. It's a useful service when you're
budget-conscious, and fortunately I've filled just about every need that I
have. And it's sometimes entertaining to watch people go into a bidding
frenzy and pay more for a used item than they would for a new one, such as a
"spin indexer".

I spent a frustrating 10-15 minutes with their customer service on the
phone. The CSR was obviously not listening to me, which was typical. I
really hate calling any tech support for just about anything. I think they
get paid to annoy people.

Among other things, she kept asking me to try this item on the page even
though I kept telling her I had dialup. I had to explain to her the
distinct difference between having a direct T-1 connection and a
dialup/modem connection.

Then she kept asking what specific item I was having trouble with.
After telling her for the third time that it was ALL items, I got out the
OED and read her the definition of "all".

Even though I told her repeatedly that I had installed Firefox twice,
she insisyed that I go ahead with upgrading my browser.

What this world needs is a phone system where you can REALLY reach out
and touch people, such as hands around the throat.

I did, however, learn that they were being barraged with complaints
about this very issue, though that may have just been appeasement.

These people actualy make QWest and Earthlink look good.
