    Ummmm.....  I think that may be a Northern Goshawk.  There's a strikingy
similar photo in "Birds of the Southwest".  It has habits similar to those
of Sharp-shinned Hawks and Cooper's Hawks, and both of those have a reddish
tint to the breast plumage.

    We have Northern Goshawks here in Arizona, but so far I've only ever
seen one.
