Olympus cleaned house. Sent in an Ax man from Japan, fired US National
Service Manager (THAT'S good, an ogre by many accounts), Ax man went to
PA and fired the President (Mark Gumz) he was the one responsible for
moving the entire company to Allentown PA (a pretty depressed area) and
losing about 90% of their staff. Filled staff positions with laid off
workers from Crayola and Silly Putty (NOT kidding). Fired President of
Olympus Europe too.
