I *did* look at many of them - most of them, mainly at f/8.
In my experience, using manual-lenses on digital *does* result in some wild
extremes in exposure accuracy, and I've never thought much about it except
to accept that this is the way it is and that sometimes exposure correction is
absolutely necessary if one is determined to use a particular f-stop.
Apart from the problem of trying to compare many small images one at a
time on screen - which is difficult in itself; I just couldn't do it in a
reasonable
space of time. Maybe to print every one off and shuffle the prints around on
a table-top until you get a ranking order?
Even trying to pick the five best would be difficult.
Then there is the matter of personal preference. After 20 minutes I gave up,
