I use radio flash trigger, it's wireless, much more convenient than
wired options.
I bought a package deal of one transmitter and 3 receivers from ebay for
$60. Search for RF602 on ebay, you will find a lot of them.
There is a strobist group in Flickr, you can find many posts full of
user experiences with this flash trigger.
