Nobody is ignorant of the VAT rate. But people expect the price at the cash
register to be the price shown on the shelf. On the contrary, to Europeans
visiting the US it seems a ridiculous practice to show prices that are fake,
since you will pay more once at the cash register. Quickly, how much is 8.25%
of 179.99?
