The large format group does group buys of the ultra large format film. Most
of them shoot B&W then process the film themselves. Contact prints are made
for the ULF but are quite popular even down to 5x7.

Richard Ritter seems to use a panoramic format himself so the camera doesn't
look as large but he has a picture on his home page:

Film holders are also very expensive, bulky, and heavy. My impression is
that most ULF photographers can but don't often load film holders in the
field. If the cost of the film doesn't, the weight of the equipment would
probably preclude snapshots  ;)

Gulp!  400NC in 20x24 will cost you... (ready now?)... $86/shot.  It 
looks like Kodak needs a minimum order of $15,000 to fire up the 
equipment.  Maybe there really is a market for Canon's 8x8" sensor.  :-)
