A short note (for now): it's good to see quite a few of you do still
want to see TOPE continue...
The idea of reducing the frequency to twice is year is maybe not so
bad; I hadn't thought of that!
Same for Ken's offer of hosting it: another thing which I hadn't
considered...
For now I shall 'harvest' opinions and ideas; I might commit to
continuing it, either in its present frequency or twice a year. Other
ideas to work with are perhaps extending the shooting periods.
I have always enjoyed hosting TOPE and participating in it; I think
not a lot of people know it, but as I've been the host I've made sure
to have an entry for _every_ TOPE. :P
It has also been what has kept me in touch with the list, and with
photography as a hobby as a whole, so I'll certainly not easily pull
the plug on it...
The main question for me is just how much of a demand there still is
for TOPE; if quite a few people still enjoy it, I think I'll continue
with it (either with 2 or 4 TOPEs a year; or maybe 3), but then, if
OTOH, hardly anyone is interested in it, it might get discontinued...
