Take care with ticks, especially if you see a red ring developing and
spreading from the site of the bite. Borreliosis - Lyme Disease - is not
nice at all, very hard to diagnose, and not easy to treat. As we have
discussed before, I think. In my case the doctor called me back the next day
to greatly increase the dosage and duration of antibiotics, having discussed
the matter with the experts.

Thanks, John. I should mention that flower photos don't come without
problems. An hour or so after I posted this photo, I felt something on my
leg, and saw what appeared to be a small insect about 2mm in dia. It was
not until I pulled it off my hairy leg that I saw small legs and realized it
was a very small tick. I'm sure I got him when I stepped into the lily bed
to get the best angle for this photo.

The bite site has continued to look more inflamed, so today, I showed it to
my doctor who put me on a round of antibiotics.
