prescription, and they are actually pretty reasonably priced.

Where I usually go for my glasses (but I think that this is common also in
other similar places here in Italy) the optometrist is free: I can have my
glasses based on an old prescription but I prefer to have my vision
checked every time and that is pretty fast and, as I said, free.
On the other hand, prices for glasses and frames are high.
