Hi Joel,

Is this on "cold start"? i.e. on power up of your system? If so, it's likely
because Windows does not set selected analog resolution until partway
through startup... so the monitor is complaining about the lower resolution
Windows uses at first.

Switching to DVI would solve the "problem", and might well improve your
perception of the display overall. In my experience, the greater control
provided by DVI means a sharper and more consistent
display--startup-to-startup--than was acheived with analog settiings.
