I wanted the photo to bear some resemblance to the thing someone would
actually see. In addition to the on-board fill flash on the E-3, I
used enough of the H/S tool to pull the frontal features to about a
Zone III level of detail (or maybe just). The fill flash made only a
tiny bit of difference and I just wanted to make only a tiny bit more
as the effect of standing in front of the statue in broad daylight is
a veil of shadow, which seems appropriate to the subject. Thanks for
