I wonder if she's referring to the film "Food Inc."

or near the DVD stage now. It deals with both topics, factory farming of
animals vs. more traditional producers and Monsanto and others trying to
prevent farmers from planting their own seeds as virtually everything is
"contaminated" with GM and thus effectively "owned" by these firms.
Worth a view and it gives you cause to think, even though agribusiness
apparently refused to participate, making it easy to demonise the "bad
guys".
