I have used Duracell "Ultra Digital" 1.5v disposable AAs as well as the 1.2
and 1.25 v rechargeables. All three have worked fine in my FL-50R.

As for my rechargeables, the higher mAh rating seems to be the determining
factor favouring the Tama batteries.

I recall a list message from Tim Hughes several months ago opining that a
higher than a lower mAh rating was preferable in getting the flash "booted
up" from cold and also from one flash to the next.

I have not done a flash count with either of my two brands of rechargeables
but they certainly survive several dozen shots of grand children at a time.

Thanks John!

So it doesn´t really matter if they are 1.2 vs 1.5, right?

Dave
