It looks as though that area is no stranger to severe floods (the uncovered
boulders already show some rounding due to being in streams, and the
stream-bed with the two people crossing is deeply incised through previous
flash floods); but that road will be very expensive to re-make. My sympathy.
What part of the UK is that in, if I my ask?
