I often put a dot of rubber cement on spring ends.  They are often just 
a loop hooked through a hole.

90 f2 diaphragm could become sluggish due to oil in the coupling ring. 
It's a big ring and imo should have been designed with some ball 
bearings (same goes for 100 f2).
