Brian,

If you can obtain PhotoShop Elements 6.0 or later, you can handle ORF files 
with no problem. I set my E-510 to make small jpg files as well as RAW, and 
use the jpg files to get a rough look at the results.  I then select the 
better ORF files individually and polish them up in the RAW processor before 
moving them into the PSE editor for final work. It takes a few tries to see 
which settings you wish to work with, but it all goes pretty smoothly.
