I should mention something about beer tasting that I learned when in
the Market Research biz.
Blind, side-by-side tasting works well for most foods and beverages.
That is, the results are reasonably projectable to sales success. Not so
with beer. To get meaningful results with beer, you have to send the
tasters home with six packs of each kind, properly re-labeled to
disguise the actual brand.
