Damn. Same place. I'm planning a trip back in the near future. I'll find
someone to interrogate (no enhanced interrogation techniques) about the use of
this thing. Your pictures have an orange thingie next to the pilot house that
wasn't there Sunday morning.

The Power of Google. I typed landing craft into the blank and wandered through
the choices. It took about two minutes to find the proper craft. It's from the
late 50s and 60s, according to what I read. The smallest iteration of the
craft, much smaller than the beast at Port Clyde, is usually found in cities on
rivers where they serve what's called Duck Boat Tours. <g> You may have
encountered these little bits of tourist paradise in Boston, or maybe they have
them in San Francisco.

Still there. Not open yet. Things are moving in that direction, but not quite
there yet. It's still damp and cold up here. Though for Mother's Day I took
Esteemed Wife to The Anchor Inn in Round Pond, which opened last Friday. It's
where you and I and Carole met for a beer. And Shaw's Fish & Lobster Wharf in
New Harbor opened last week, so warm weather can't be too far behind. <g>
