Hi Chris,
At least one night in LV is standard for the round trip we planned. For
the standard trip we would fly directly from the Netherlands to LV.
Everywhere in the US and Canada when you want to rent a RV the first
night in a hotel is mandatory. I am sure there is lots of wastefulness,
but I thinkt that at night there are some fantastic photo opportinities
to be found also.
