Back in late 1976 I shipped a 1977 VW Dasher Wagon from London to Vancouver
and then drove it to Calgary in the dead of winter. At Litton in the Fraser
Canyon I ran over a rock in the road, twice the size of a basketball, and
took out the oil pan. The local Esso station did all the necessary fix ups
...... three days on the hoist all for $110 !. I do have some long memories
of the Fraser Canyon. You did take a ride on the Devils Canyon cable car
ride across the Fraser Canyon not far from Litton?
