Yes, it is a fantastic book and will most definitely get a "recommended"
review. But it's like a book of poetry. Each page is full poem unto
itself. Unfortunately, it's like reading the same five poems over and over
and over again. If I recall correctly (the book is at home), there are 137
pictures.

I'm reminded of the book of paintings by Andrew Wyeth, "Christina's World".
Each page contains a plate of a painting which is fully stand-alone in
itself. There is no end to the masterpieces, page after page. However, in
stark contrast to the book I'm reviewing, in "Christina's World" each
painting tells only part of the story and is part of the overall
collection. Each painting shows a snippet of life and to get the full story
you must view the entire collection. Every page draws you to the next page
and to the next. Each day, you just want to have it open to a page and then
advance it the next day. With this book I'm reviewing, I honestly got bored
with it and am finding myself just flipping through pages to get to the next
block of text. It's a shame because each photograph is strong, but I can
handle only so much intensity.

Actually, I'm writing my review through these posts.
