Check "Examples of non-rigid airships" here for examples of British and 
American military blimp usage starting with WWI.

The Tillamook blimp hanger can be seen at the bottom of this page. 
Texas and Florida blimp hangers are no longer standing. Destroyed by 
fire or hurricanes.
