Stayed on Nyhavn for a few days prior to a meeting in Göteborg.
Remember telling the cabbie to go to
"Niehaven" and got a quizzical look. IIRC it is pronounced more like
"Newhound." Inscrutable vowels, IMO.
Recall people dining outside with some of those gas heaters in the low
50's deg F. Definite evidence of Viking blood. One of my favorite
cities ever visited and I recall how bicycle friendly it was.
