Not to engage in one-upmanship, but my first hard disk held six 8"
platters, had a seek time of ~100mS, held 4MB, and cost $1,800 for a
pair, with controller and S-100 bus card! I used them on CP/M and HDOS
on the Heathkit H-89 computer I built.
